TOWN OF HANSEN MEETING MINUTES

Board Members in Attendance:  Paul Goldberg, Pamela Martinson, Wayne Brock, Dan Madsen, and Diane Kohls

Board Members Excused:  None

Others in Attendance:  Ralph Hamel and Chris Ferkey

 Call to Order:  Chairman, Paul Goldberg, called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

Approval of Clerks Minutes:   The minutes from the December 12, 2023 meeting were read.  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Paul, to approve the minutes.  Motion carried.

 Expenditures and Treasurer Reports:  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Paul, to approve the expenditures and Treasurer reports.  Motion carried. 

 Correspondence:  We received another cutting notice and a certified map from the county.  Received calls about people that did not receive garbage carts.  There were probably about 20 that were missed.  WM will be getting those that were missed carts.

Road and Maintenance Concerns/Tree Trimming:  Wayne got in touch with the owner of the land that has trees hanging over the road and the trees will be taken care of.  The Haas bid was $3,325.50 to remove the trees that were in the right of way.  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Paul, to hire Haas to remove the trees.  Motion carried.  Diane emailed JJ’s brushcutting on October 27 about getting a bid for cutting the brush, but never heard back.  Diane will email them again. 

District Meeting for Board of Review Training:  The training is February 17, 2024 in Stevens Point.  It is mandatory for at least one board member to attend training.  Paul, Wayne, and Dan will attend.

 Pay current bills:  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Dan, to pay the current bills.  Motion carried.

Next meeting date:  February 13, 2024 @ 7:00 p.m.

Adjournment:  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Dan, to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.  The meeting was adjourned by Chairman, Paul Goldberg, at 7:41 p.m.
