Expenditures and Treasurer Reports:  A motion was made by Dan, seconded by Wayne, to approve the expenditures and Treasurer reports.  Motion carried.

Correspondence:  Received a disaster management email from the county, a culvert permit, and a revised certified survey map from the county.

Road and Maintenance Concerns/Tree Trimming:  All the culverts in Wood County that are 6’ to 20’ need to be inspected.  Wood County will do the inspections otherwise there is an outside firm that would do it.  We received a petition for road aid and 50/50 program.  Paul will get that filled out and sent back.  We received a bid from JJ’s brushcutting with their rates.  Paul is going to get in touch with them to find out exactly what they can do.

WM Calendar Update:  The garbage pick up in September had the wrong date because of the holiday.  The pick up date is September 6th, not September 5th.  WM sent a revised calendar and Diane will get the calendar on the website updated when she gets a chance.

Tax Overpayment Policy:  The board is going to implement a $5 over/under policy.

Maintenance Tools for Town Garage:  Paul mentioned that the Town does not have a battery charger or jumper cables.  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Dan, to purchase a battery charger and jumper cables.  Motion carried.

Property Line/Fencing Issues:  Dave Hamel has been having issues with his neighbors animals coming onto his property.  The neighbor needs to put up a fence on the west side of the property.  The Town will talk to the WI Towns Association counsel to see if the Town can send a registered letter to the neighbor.

Pay current bills:  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Dan, to pay the current bills.  Motion carried.

Old Business:  None

New Business:  Ann Nelson would like to put up a stone monument on the curve on Spruce Road.  July 19th is the WTA Association Meeting that the Town of Hansen is hosting.  Diane will send out donation letters to our subcontractors to see if they will donate anything towards the meeting.  Diane will  contact the Town of Wood to see about renting the Town of Wood town hall for the meeting.

Public Input:  Bill Gebert wanted to know if we have to install a cul de sac at the end of dead end roads.  Paul will check with Roland at the next WTA meeting and see if he knows.  Jack Wilke would like the three pot holes on Birch Lane to be repaired.  They need mastic patches.  Paul will contact the county to have them repaired.

Next agenda items:  Brushcutting, Road Limits, and Board of Review Training

Next meeting date:  March 12, 2024 @ 7:00 p.m.

Adjournment:  A motion was made by Wayne, seconded by Dan, to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.  The meeting was adjourned by Chairman, Paul Goldberg, at 8:06 p.m.
